DERMAPLANE TREATMENT is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Using a scalpel and a delicate touch, the provider simply abrades the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes. This is a great treatment for clients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation, without the risk of using chemicals during pregnancy. A pain reliever of your choice is recommended for those who are extra sensitive or first time waxers, 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and limit caffeine and alcohol consumption as much as you can 24 hours prior to help minimize sensitivity. Follow-up care consisting of a botanical first aid solution can be applied for those who are extra sensitive as well as no abrasive touch for up to 24 hours after the wax.
