I’m Lex, a Licensed Esthetician, Professional Makeup Artist, Acne Specialist, and skincare educator with over 6 years of professional experience and a deep passion for helping others feel confident in their skin.

While I’m extensively trained in acne management and corrective skincare, my passion for acne care goes beyond professional education. Having personally struggled with acne myself, I understand firsthand the physical, emotional, and psychological impact skin concerns can have on your confidence and quality of life. This personal experience, combined with advanced professional training, has fueled my dedication to helping others navigate their own skin journeys with compassion, education, and realistic guidance.

Although acne is one of my specialties, LumiLex Skin™ is not exclusive to acne-prone skin. I’m committed to providing inclusive skincare guidance for all skin types, tones, ages, and concerns. Whether you’re navigating acne, sensitivity, rosacea, pigmentation concerns, signs of aging, dehydration, barrier impairment, or simply looking to better understand your skin, you’re welcome here.

My commitment to education has led me to pursue advanced training beyond traditional esthetics. Through Texas Laser Institute, I completed in-person advanced education in chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, IPL photofacials, radiofrequency skin tightening, laser hair reduction, and other advanced aesthetic procedures. I strongly believe that continuing education is essential to providing safe, informed, and effective guidance within an ever-evolving industry.

That’s why I focus on the whole person and try to understand what’s going on with each individual.
